Finding a ClickBank product that converts easily is the ultimate goal, right?
Here’s how it’s done in three simple steps.
Taking the time to buy and check out the actual product as well as contacting their support will give you a leg up on folks that just pick a product based on hype and gravity score.
Gravity score can be manipulated so it isn’t the only factor that predicts whether a product will convert or not.
The ClickBank Marketplace is where you will be able to find all the products for sale. It is divided into categories and sub-categories. Use this method to find a product that suits your niche.
From there you can select how you want to be presented the available products. You can list them in rank of popularity, gravity, % of sale etc.
There are several filters that you can apply too if you don’t want to look at products that aren’t compliant with your particulars. For example you can set the filters to include product that only have a minimum average payout of $25 per sale, and recurring sales at a minimum of $25. Set the minimum gravity, percent of commission and more.
Choosing a Winning Product from the Marketplace
If a product does not have any sales in 12 weeks it will be removed from the ClickBank marketplace and not show up in the search. The vender will be notified that they are being dropped and have a chance to respond. This simple communication will allow the product to stay “alive” in the listings even though there have been no sales.
Popularity and gravity aren’t always the best indicators of a product match for your niche. As well, these numbers may be low anyway if the product is a new listing or the product developer hasn’t been actively promoting or recruiting JV partners.
The listing will be in a specific category and sub-category. There is a title (name of product) with a description that should include a link to their JV page if available.
If the link isn’t visible but they do have affiliate support, there will be a little symbol “Vendor Spotlight” and a link that will take you to a special page on ClickBank where there is more information about the vendor, possibly the product, links to JV pages, and contact information.
The numbers displayed on the main listing are averages. They do factor in chargebacks, taxes, refunds etc.
ClickBank Conversion Rates & Refund Rates
The conversion rate of a product isn’t listed in the description or with the information stats. Often the seller will put a little note about their tested conversion rates in the product description, or on the Vendor Spotlight page, or on the JV page. These boasted conversion numbers need to be taken in contest and understand that much of what drives a product to have high conversion numbers involves more niche analytical science than just the landing page copy.
ClickBank Product Refund Rates
The refund rates are not made available on the ClickBank marketplace. This is a good number to know – especially if you plan to put any time or money into promoting a product. If the product converts well but is crappy with a high return rate, money is lost along with your reputation of recommending products.
